Our approach

A lot of custom woodworking is extravagant. Our approach is more down-to-earth. I want to solve problems for people, with high quality material and pieces crafted by hand, to fit your life and taste.

Given our methods, we stick to familiar hardwoods such as oak, cherry, walnut and elm (and always open to softwoods like pine) and our pieces involve joinery like dovetails, mortise and tenons, housing dadoes and so on.

Crafting your piece is a collaboration. We’ll work together to define the project and what’s involved, we’ll refine the design together, I’ll get building it in the shop, and when it’s done a dusted we’ll get it delivered to its new home.

Hi, I’m Kevin. I like to build practical, well-made furniture from wood, using only hand tools and some elbow grease. I started woodworking as a hobby in 2018 and quickly developed a passion for building, and an obsession with the possibilities of creating things with my hands. I’d like to share this passion with others and solve problems for people while I’m at it – with well-made, beautiful, lasting pieces.
